Subject: Sharnae's Five Key Elements

The first element that I will teach will be plaigarism. I will explain what exactly it is and how you can go on to avoid plaigarizing. The next element I will use is how to correctly acknowledge your sources. The last three element that I will go on to describe is the correct use of quotation, paraphrasing, and summarizing your project effectively to help avoid plaigarizing as well.

Hi Sharnae, I think that you did a good job in mentioning how students want to avoid plagiarizing in their papers but I think you should go into more detail. It would also be a good idea to use the links Mrs. Ryan provided us with for this assignment because they give excellent information about how to cite sources and put our thoughts onto paper. I would also like to point out that you spelt plagiarizing and correct wrong, I think you might have overlooked your spelling while re-reading your response. Also, how would you go about explaining the correct usage of quoting, summarizing, and paraphrasing to the students?

Hi Sharnae,

You know what you're talking about but I need you to tell me a little more. It also looks like you were rushing a bit because of some of your spelling errors. Relax girl!

I think you probably needed to go into more detail in your presentation. The ideas were good, but need to be backed up and supported with more information.

Jessica you did a great job. You had a great amount of information that was a great foundatoin for the topics you chose to explain. Plaigarism, and paraphrasing were two of the topics that you used sources to well explain them and you did a great job with that as well . Next time you can provide examples of how people plaigarize or give examples of how not to plaigarize.

Your choice of elements were great. Many students need to be educated on the differences between MLA and APA style papers and citations. You picked elements that would be key in helping students in high school to excel. Next time you can try to provide definitions or examples of what exactly you plan to do to display your elemnets to the students.
