These are some pictures of myself using the Personal Digital Assistants (PDA).

Technology Impact on Content Areas:

1.    Networking:  World Wide Web- This networking device will help communication between students and teachers, parents and teachers, teachers and teachers, and administration and teachers, administration and students, administration and parents.  Teachers can easily post homework assignments or exercises along with the day’s or week’s objectives to be discussed in class.

2.  Visualization:  Virtual Field Trips- This allows students to travel the world.  If in class, students were learning about China and the Opium War with the British, students will have a chance to access this virtual reality and become part of that War.

3.  Human-to-Computer Interfaces:  Voice Audio and Voice Recognition- This will help teachers keep track of what they discussed in class by a computer sensitive to speech will copy or write what the person is saying.  When students are absent, the teacher can give the student a copy of what was discussed.

4.  Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent CAI:  Intelligent Agents- This system provides several kinds of educational strategies.  This will help students in researching.

5.  Innovative Equipment: Handheld devices- This device will help students search for a book in a library, and will help find if it is on the shelves or not.  This will help with productivity.
