Databases:

Databases can help students organizes notes for research papers, class surveys, and in math projects.  Databases can give the students a feel of the business world. I will use databases to file information about my students.

 I can organize basic information on my students in a form such at this one. This is helpful whether I teach in middle or elementary schools.

I can develop a basic form letter and use mail merge to include the fields off  my database. This eliminates needless and time consuming work such as typing out a letter for each student. When I have merged the information from my database into my form letter, work that may have taken hours will be done in a few minutes. An example of a final product is included below.
