This site offers a look at history for younger children that is easy to navigate through.

This is a great site because it is designed with a technologically-advanced classroom in mind.  It is created to be an interactive multimedia tool from the Revolutionary War to present day.

This site lists American History topics for easy navigation and offers short videos, photos and timelines of each event.  The site also highlights other useful websites.

This is a great site because it provides a brief and simple overview of United States History.  It would be helpful when looking for general US History information.

 Kidport Reference Library

This site offers a timeline of important events in US History.  The event name and picture are on the timeline which helps to make the timeline easy to navigate.

U.S. Department of Education

This is a website from the US Department of Education that provides teachers with the Program Description for teaching history in public schools.

The White House homepage is a great plethora of information about current events coming from the most famous house in the world.
