Heavy metal is a long tradition of head-rocking riffs, ear-piercing vocals, and mind-blowing solos. While metal has roots in early rock and the blues, it has become and independent entity, still growing today.

My addiction with metal first began when Nick introduced me to Dream Theater's "Awake", a progressive metal album. While this album was heavy in sound, James LaBrie's melodic vocals were the item to get me hooked. Dream Theater became my "gateway" band to all other bands and branches of metal.

My first concert experience as at the Recher in Towson, Maryland, with Nick. Today, I have a record of seven concerts under my belt. But I'm not stopping there!
