Topic Learning with technology

What is the author's main point? A review was conducted of the literature on technology-based practices for secondary students with learning disabilities. Technology-based practices included computer- or video-based interventions, multimedia programs, technology-based assessment, and verbatim audio recordings. Three practices appear promising: hypertext and hypermedia software programs, videodisc instruction involving contextual zed learning, and multimedia software.

What does the author say? The author states that they are trying different approaches to helping people with learning disabilities by different methods of learning with technology

What do I think? I think this is a good idea to try and use technology to help kids with learning disabilities

What is the author's main point? The author discusses the media effect approach broadly, to point out limitations the traditional approach imposes on the field, and discusses a "mix of attributes" approach with a focus on study of "new" technologies for the disseminations of news, and also for research

What does the author say? That you should also be able to use new technologies for research.

What do I think? I think this also is related to my topic because you need to learn different styles of research using technology

Discusses integration strategies applicable in the present-day classroom, the hierarchy of teacher effectiveness, and current challenges and trends. Asserts that the ultimate success of schools still remains in training and supporting quality frontline teachers.

What does the author say? He is presenting integration of technology into the classroom
