Flowers By Dené

About Us

Fresh Cut Buckets of Lisianthus and Queen Anne's Lace

Flowers By Dené was created in 2001.  As a child, my family grew many beds of flowers, that is where my passion came from.  After graduating from Harford Technical High School in June 2001, a dear friend invited me to join him at the Bel Air Farmer's Market with some wildflower bouquets.  To make a long story short I am still there to this day, selling my beautiful wildflower bouquets.  Since selling at the Farmer's Market, I have now expanded to doing other jobs. Field grown wildflowers are my personal specialty, but I also enjoy doing flower arrangements for weddings and other special occasions.

We grow all of our own flowers to take to the market as you can see in some of the photos.  We start all of our plants from seed or plugs (see below) in our greenhouse and then transplant them outside when the weather breaks.

Not only do we use our field grown flowers for arranging. But for a special occasion we may purchase supplemental flowers like Roses, Lilies, Baby's Breath, et cetera.

Recently, I was hired as the Agriculture Teacher at North Harford High School and now get to share the passion of growing and working with plants to another generation.
