About: This is a temporary page. (As in, I graduate, the page is wiped.) An intro, because it is required:
Name: Caitlin. (Also go by various online names.) Went to Sudbrook Magnet Middle & Carver Center for Arts and Technology, both times for Visual Art. Now at Towson University (again for Visual). In high school, I also took Telemedia (which basically means I made movies.) Am planning to hopefully study abroad next Autumn.
likes: Dragon Knights, Harry Potter (but esp. the Marauders), The Shoebox Project, The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings (Tolkien's writings in general), Middle-earth in general, Dragonlance, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Woodland, Enya, Loreena McKennitt, drawing (sometimes), painting (sometimes), making movies, Renaissance Festivals, Fae Festivals, myths, Autumn, Winter, MythBusters, Ghost Hunters, Doctor Who (not the new one), Star Wars, Interview With the Vampire, Japanese, Italian, Polish (languages in general), The Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, slash (oh noes). One could call me a geek, but geeks have more fun. Get used to it.
Some of my favorite artists include J.W. Waterhouse, Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, Janet Fish, John Howe, Alan Lee, Kees van Dongen, Marc Chagall, Edmund Blair Leighton, Brian Froud, Jenny Dolfen, Peter Xavier Price, Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Viggo Mortenson, and Linda Ravenscroft. It is a steadily growing list that I keep in the front of my sketchbooks.
dislikes: Politics, religion, hypocrites, fundamentalists, close-minded people in general, people who drive past the Senator & say asinine things to people waiting in line for a movie (or shoot at them. or throw ice at them), sports (& these people think they have the right to make fun of geeks in line? yay hypocrites!), homophobia, spoiled people, & a myriad other things that I cannot remember right now, or will be nice & refrain from putting up (though political correctness is part of the epitome of lame).
More to be added later. Like a decent background. And a way of getting text to wrap around images.
