Tyler Reed has been a member of the Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program since 2009. She Graduated from Towson University in 2006 with a B.A. in the Spanish Professional Program and a Minor Concentration in Business Administration. During this time she was a head coach of a local swim team. After graduation, Tyler’s degree lead Tyler to a career in Business and Sales, leaving the coaching behind. From 2006 to 2007, Tyler had a career that
allowed her to speak the Spanish language every day.
After a career change in 2007, Tyler’s new
career did not include the Spanish Language.
From 2007 to 2009 Tyler did not get to speak
Spanish a single day.
Coaching and teaching children, as well as
speaking the Spanish language, are two big passions of Tyler’s.
Combining those passions to teach children the Spanish language will be
fulfilling for her and the children she will teach. After having a
influential Spanish teacher in Tyler’s early years, she realized that
she wants to inspire children the way that her teacher inspired her.
Tyler wants to empower children to want to learn the language and
facilitate their efforts to lead them to success. This is a great
challenge she looks forward to embracing in the years to come.
