Welcome to a new school year! I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
By choosing a class to the left, you will be able to access the course outline, calendar and worksheets.
Below you will find general class rules and how participation is graded each day.

Room Expectations
Be On Time. If you are not in the classroom and ready to work when the bell rings, you will receive a tardy.
Use Polite Speech and Body Language. Unkind teasing and impolite behavior is unacceptable, as is interrupting. Inappropriate language will constitute a referral.
Consequences: 1. Warning 2. Warning and Reminder 3. Referral and E-Mail or Call Home	Rewards: No consequences during class results in quiet talking the last 5 minutes of the period.
Make Up Work. Missed assignments and tests are YOUR responsibility. Missed assignments will be in the notebook on the front table. You will complete missed assignments at home, not during class time. It is YOUR responsibility to make arrangements to make up missed tests. You must complete the missed assignment and turn in all work within five (5) days of your return.
Participation Points. You can earn 10 points each day. If you are absent, you need to complete a Magazine Article Summary (Forms) to make up those lost points. You can complete 9 summaries a marking period. They are due by the end of the 8th week of the marking period.
