My name is Patrick Magoon.  I am currently a junior at Towson University.  I have an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration from the College of Southern Maryland and am hoping to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.  I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, going on camping trips with my family, and most of all going to the beach.  I have one sister, Heather, who is a senior here at Towson and one brother, Shawn, who is a Senior at Thomas Stone High School.  My parents have been married for about 28 years now and this would have been my grandparents 50th anniversary.  My Grandfather recently passed away from cancer, so it has been a hard year for my family.  This is why I wanted to create this website; to show how important family is to me.

    This quote describes my mother exactly.  She is selfless and is always making sure that everyone else is happy.  She is the best at all that she does and pushes each of us to be the same way.  My mom is a systems analyst for Georgetown University.

    My dad is a unique guy and I hope that I can one day become half the man he is today.  He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service.  He then got into real estate and finally sales at Beacon Printing.  After working hard and becoming the sales manager, he bought out some of the company and became a partial owner.

    My sister truly is my best friend.  She and I hardly ever fight and we truly enjoy being around each other.  This might be seen as weird because most brothers and sisters do not have this type of relationship.  I would be truly lost without her in my life.  She understands me and I her, which is why it is so easy for us to get along.  My sister has helped guide me and show me how to be a wonderful person, and I am grateful because of it.  My sister is currently a Senior at Towson University, majoring in Deaf Studies and Psychology.  After graduating, she wants to further her education by obtaining her Masters or PhD so she can work in a school for the deaf as a guidance counselor.

    My brother and I don't always get along, but we love each other all the same.  My brother plays tennis, so naturally we have to compete in that.  My brother swam, so of course we had to compete in that as well.  My brother, if anything, helps to push me to be the best at all that I do because he will never let me win and I will never let him win either.  Although we don't get along, we understand each other.  My brother is currently a senior at Thomas Stone High School.  When he graduates he wants to go into the military--we don't exactly what branch yet because it changes every week.

    My grandfather used to say that our family was abnormal.  What he meant by that was that our family was not typical of a normal family today.  My parents are married and have been for 28 years, my family cares for one another, and we love to be around each other.  All these things are why family is so important to me.  I wanted to create this website to show you my family and how much they mean  to me.  I love my family and I would do anything for them.
