I have had a life long love affair with photography. I've been taking photographs since as long as my parents allowed me near a camera. I started out with your basic point and shoot cameras back in elementary school and middle school, and moved onto my first SLR in a high school photography class. I then moved on to digital, but unfortunately back to the point and shoot. I finally got my hands on a digital SLR last fall for my birthday, and have been obsessively taking photos like it is going out of style.
