Flag
The Spain flag is red with a yellow stripe in the middle. The design is the country's symbol.

The
Map
Spain is called a peninsula. A peninsula is a body of land surrounded by water on three sides (the fourth side is connected to land). Spain has the Bay of Biscay to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterrenean Sea to the east. France is the other border.

The
Royal Family
Because Spain is a monarchy, there is a king and queen. The king of Spain is King Juan Carlos I and the queen is Queen Sofia. They have three children, Princess Elena, Princess Cristina and Prince Felipe. The Prince will take over the throne after his father.
