the findings. It has charts and graphs on it and it thoroughly
discusses the study and how it was conducted.

|
In one/two sentences, explain how the
information in this source supports your research question/topic:
It gives supporting information about how
colleges and universities view homeschool graduates and information
about the requirements. This helps me to draw conclusions on the
overall views of college admission boards on homeschoolers.
|
|
Is there any information in this source
that surprised you?
Yes. Some of the college admissions
representatives made stark comments on how they thought that
homeschooled students weren’t prepared for college. I was also
surprised that some colleges or universities require that homeschoolers
take courses at a community college before applying. In general,
homeschoolers perform better than public school educated students, and I
didn’t know that some universities viewed them so negatively.
