A house show is a show or small concert held at someone's house, usually in the basement or in the backyard.  The bands that play are usually local and the atendees are usually a community of friends supporting these bands.

  • Many houses are coming up with names for themselves.  .
  • Most bands playing at shows are doing so for fun and not to get their name known.
