Many college students deal with credit cards on a daily basis. Learning about credit cards and finding ways to avoid debt is essential for students.

  • 78 percent of undergraduates and 95 percent of graduate students have one or more credit cards.
  • The average credit card debt for an undergraduate is almost $3,000.
  • Credit card interest is usually much higher for college students.
