Welcome to April Bandel's web page!
My name is April Bandell and I am from Melbourne, FL. I attended Brevard Community College where I received my Associate in Arts degree. Currently I am attending Towson University where I am pursuing my Bachelors in Elementary Education.
At Towson University I have participated in the Tiger Marching band and the Symphonic band. In these bands I played the tuba, baritone, or the tympani. I am also actively involved in Hillel where I have been a leader and program organizer.
When I graduate from Towson I hope to get a job in Baltimore county teaching first or second grade, but that may change. I have always wanted to be a teacher, even when I was a little girl. I want to educate children and be remembered as someone who impacted their lives. As a teacher I hope to make a difference in many lives, learn from my students, and become principal one day.
When I was in school we didn’t have a lot of the technology that we have today. The technology that we have now is very beneficial to teachers because we are able to provide better lesson plans, interactive learning, and hands on learning. Technology will keep growing and we will have new and improved ways to teach children and motivate them to learn.
